Imelda Gabs, 18 years old pianist, singer, and composer begins playing the piano at the early age of 3. Growing up with music thanks to her father, Doctor Gabs, great international jazz pianist, she quickly develops a real passion for this art. She studies classical piano at the Conservatory of Lausanne and learns jazz at home on her own, going from blues to swing, funk, latin, and boogie woogie. At just 12 years old, she went on a Swiss TV show, singing and playing the piano, and at 14 she played on the prestigious stage of the Bozar in Brussels, participating in the Doctor Gabs Jazz Evening, mixing perfectly her classical technique, her jazz repertoire, and her own compositions. At age 16, she was one of the participating musicians at the Doctor Gabs Tribute, the tribute to her father, which took place at the W:HALLL in Brussels on 16.10.2014

Imelda Gabs, agée de 18 ans , pianiste, chanteuse, et compositrice débute le piano à l'âge de 3 ans. Grandissant avec la musique, grâce à son père, Doctor Gabs, un grand pianiste international de jazz, elle développe rapidement une vraie passion pour cet art. Elle étudie le piano classique au Conservatoire de Lausanne et apprends le jazz chez elle en autodidacte, allant du blues au swing, funk, latin, et boogie-woogie. A 12 ans elle participe à un plateau de télé suisse, au chant et piano, et à 14 ans elle se produit sur la scène prestigieuse de Bozar à Bruxelles, participant au Doctor Gabs Jazz Evening, et combinant parfaitement sa technique classique, son répertoire jazz, et ses propres compositions. A l'âge de 16 ans, elle faisait partie des artistes rendant hommage à son père, le défunt DOCTOR GABS, lors du Doctor Gabs Tribute, qui a eu lieu au WHALLL à Bruxelles le 16.10.2014
